Foreign Press Comics is all about teaching, educating, and helping other creators, and in the spirit of that, we’re launching our Voyagers program! A voyager is an explorer, someone who discovers, sees things that have never been seen before, and the FPC Voyagers program is no different.

By becoming a Voyager, you’re essentially pre-ordering your copy of the final product, and not only that, but you get to see updates (at least) once a week from the creators, getting behind-the-scenes information, outlines, script pages, art, interviews with the creators, and so much more. You get to see the book get made in real time, because YOU are a Voyager, and as such, you get to come on the voyage with us.

In contrast to other crowdfunding websites, Voyagers won’t have dedicated reward tiers. We will offer a variety of options to support the projects, like prints, books, variant covers, posters, and chances to be a part of the story, giving our voyagers the opportunity to build their own customized reward package, tailored to exactly what they want. The project won’t be made until the pre-order goal is reached, and each tier will be available through our store. With your purchase, you’ll also get exclusive access to a hidden page on the FPC website that logs all of the updates surrounding the book, and you’ll be subscribed to receive those same updates in your email, and when the book is completed, you will be notified and we’ll get you your copy of the book! And finally, and maybe most importantly, the funds gathered here will go directly to the creators, allowing them to make the book in real time. This way we ensure that creators get what they deserve and that our supporters know that when they become a Voyager, their funds are being put to good use.
